Hi there! Im Sara Wright, your photographer at S.Wright Photography

I am a wife to my husband Trey, of five years. We have two beautiful children, Levi and Emersyn. I am a huge fan of the bachelor and bachelorette, American Idol, and anything crime stories. I have an obsession to Mexican food and would it eat it daily if I could!! My favorite drink (which you will always see me with) is SF RedBull. Along with photography I also love my job being on the wedding staff at a local venue, Mountain View Farms Weddings and Events in Ashville, AL. I also enjoy summertime going on the boat with my family, beach trips, our annual trips to the mountains, and really anything traveling. But, lets get on with it...

Backstory to how I got here: Started photography in 2014 as a total amateur who just loved taking photos. After 3 years I decided to call it quits. I was never "good enough" and felt I didn't have the potential. UNTIL 2022, when a dear friend asked me to photograph her wedding. HAHAH! I was terrified and explained that I didn't even own a camera anymore but they insisted. Bought a new DSLR and a couple lenses and worked so hard to perfect what I knew. I photographed their wedding and it was so beautiful. Meanwhile, I fell in love with photography again. I had a one year old and baby on the way and being able to professionally capture all their milestones and moments made me want to pursue it further. Here I am 3 years later, upgraded to mirrorless and have met so many wonderful people along the way.

I am so grateful to everyone that I have ever photographed.

I truly love this art and love learning about it every single day. My favorite part is meeting new people and seeing them smile and laugh and love all while I document them with a big ol' smile on my own face. Seriously, sometimes I leave a session and my cheeks hurt from smiling so much :)
